Charles Steiner founded the first Steiner workshop in 1920 in the heart of Paris. In the 1940s, the Steiner brand innovates in providing the decorative design. Initiated by the son of Charles Steiner, Hugues Steiner, a new technique was applied in the form of steam bentwood. Which became a internationally succes. The ‘Bow Wood’ range attracted many designers, thanks to its originality.
