Large 1970s Burl Wood Coffee Table

Exceptional extra-large 1970s coffee table in very good condition.

Designed in the sophisticated spirit of Willy Rizzo and Milo Baughman.

The table combines an imposing low-slung silhouette with beautifully figured bookmatched burl wood, showcasing an extraordinary natural grain across the generous top and substantial apron.

The richly patterned burl veneer has warm honey, amber and caramel tones, giving the piece an unmistakably luxurious presence. Its clean architectural form and generous proportions create the perfect balance between 1970s Italian glamour and American modernist design.

A beautifully crafted statement piece with excellent quality, impressive scale and exceptional decorative character. Particularly striking in a contemporary, mid-century or 1970s-inspired interior.
