Designed in 1971.
Original cognac leather upholstery.
The chair can fold out to reveal a sheepskin mattress, and can now be used as a bed or daybed.
In 1972, the Anfibio was selected for the collection of the museum of Contemporary Art MOMA of New York. It achieved the most prestigious design awards in the same year it was discovered by Playboy America which made it an icon of eros. In the following years it became part of the design collection of 12 other museums of contemporary art around the world.
