Beautiful coffee table by Up&Up in very good condition. Made in Italy in the 1970s Both the top and legs are executed in beautiful travertine with variegated tones of beige, white and brown. The round heavy top is held in position by three column shaped feet, because of the weight of the material this results in a strong and stabile construction. The table is in a beautiful condition and has no chips or cracks. Travertine is shaped by constant water pressure and stress. It is formed from the calcium carbonate deposits that can be found around different types of hot springs and streams. The various impurities in the stone can give it different colors. These shades are highly sought after for their decorative appeal, and can include combinations of beige, tan and brown.
